A great "short" leash for training my Yorkie. I like the width of it as I feel that I have control of him and it feels comfortable in my hand. I was often fearful of regular leashes as they would almost slip out of my grip. The "chunky" is great.

When I first put the TrueHarness on Dexter he stood still like a statue not knowing what was he was wearing. It took a bit for him to get used to. It’s great for walking him as no more pulling. We are enjoying the harness and matching leash. Our dog looks so nice wearing them. But are having an issue with the bottom of the leash is coming undone. Just above the clasp to the harness. I there some kind of replacement for this issue?

I love this leash.
I recently adopted a rescue named Morty. His owner of nine years had died and he ended up caged in a kennel, until he was rescued by a group in NC.
Then, he ended up being transferred, via a three car tag-team, to a foster mom, (with a rescue organization) in California, MD.
I found Morty on Petfinders, and drove to MD to adopt him.
After months of multiple transfers, handlers, and environments, Morty was a bit unsettled and undisciplined.
He was so ecstatic to be free that he was perpetually excited and rambunctious when we ventured outside.
I’m almost 70 years old and I have severe RA... I get regular IV injections for RA treatment and pain.
Without this sturdy leash, I would not be able to control Morty on his walks.
Morty’s owner was quite ill, before she died; I do not think walks were a part of their daily life together, toward the end. Then, Morty found himself in a variety of situations. After I adopted Morty, he had to be refreshed on walking safely with me, so as not to hurt me or himself. The leash was so helpful in making our daily walks a success. Thank you. ❤️

She doesn’t fight to put it on and she helps to take it off by backing out of it. She likes it so much more than the other harness we had for her. It fits well and there is still a lot of growing room. It doesn’t keep her from pulling, but that is something I have to work on in training.

I want to say that although the leashes are big, especially for me, I have small hands, they are very comfortable to hold. The rubberized handle is very soft and doesn't cut into your hand like an ordinary leash handle does when the dog pulls. I'm sure I'll get used to them the more I use them

He wore the harness for an extended period on a recent camping trip. It did not bother him at all .
Would highly recommend. The shipping time was around 4 to 5 weeks but if you are patience it is well worth the wait.

Nice Harness, have to be careful not to pinch dog when closing clasp. The rubbe covering the fold over in the leash does not stay where it belongs. Had one of my pugs go backwards and escape harness. They often get one leg out.
